Enjoying the Breeze

NEWBORN is growing up and enjoying the breeze outside. I haven’t passed along there in awhile, but to refresh my memory I plan to walk down there and see if anything has changed. I know there’s few spray-painted marks done by some few weeks back, which remind me that nothing is invincible. We must work and protect all that we stand for.

Cheers.

    Hello everyone.

I am 16 years old, living in New Zealand.

I have a massive interest in Human Rights activism, and in the future I hope to get involved in UNESCO or Amnesty International, or something similiar. I must say that this Newborn idea was very fitting of such a great occasion as the Independence of Kosovo, nice work.

I’m very sad to hear of the recent violence in Kosovo and the rest of the former Yugoslavia. I hope with all my heart that there is no more war, no more violence, no more hate. I have no idea what it’s like to grow up with war, and no I don’t try and claim to know a lot about the situation. Nonetheless, I wish I could do something to help those who were not as fortunate as me.

Please let me know if there is a way, any way at all, that I can be of any help to anyone or anything in Kosovo. I would be more than willing.

In the future, I want to travel to Bosnia/Serbia/Kosovo/Croatia etc and see what it is like there personally. I am also interested in Afghanistan/Iran.

Sorry for posting a bit of an autobiography. Anyway, my main point was that I would love to be in contact with any of you about what I can do to help etc.

Thanks a lot and best wishes to all of you,

    Matt

P.S. My life inspiration is Ramadan Ilazi. I would give anything to be in contact with him somehow. Do any of you know his email address, or anything like that? Thanks.

I admit, the naive westerner I am, that I only heard about him in Time magazine, in November 2007. But he is truly no ordinary inspiration.

(Sorry for the long post, but I’ll eagerly await a reply)

Serbian Lies Dismissed by Human Rights Activists:

Carla del Ponte is trying to portray herself as balanced by spreading
allegations of Kosovo Albanians harvesting Serb organs during Kosovo war. In Belgrade, Natasha Kandic, the highly respected head of the
investigative Humanitarian Law Centre, said ordinary Serbs “welcome the publication of [Carla del Ponte’s] book” but said allegations of organ-smuggling were “rumours”. “I talked to her many times, she never told me about this,” said Miss Kandic.
