There has always been something that tightened us together and made us inseparable.

Our flag never touched the ground, red & black has perpetually been highly appraised.
On the independence day the same happened, hundreds of people kept the flag off the ground and carried it with kilometers.
We put a sign on memory (foto credit to Muja).

@Courtnie:
it is actually, but until late that day no Kosova flags were provided.
However, the Red&Black one is a national flag lifted up high for ages, so we can’t deny it either.
P.S. The common thing between Kosova & Albania are albanian.
Isn’t that flag of republic of Albania? I don’t understand what Kosova has to do with Albania? That makes me wonder, why would you wave a flag of Albania when you have your own flag?

Thanks tons for the greets and kind words.
We chose English automatically without even thinking. There’s a huge international presence here that it’s very normal for us to ‘produce’ or conceptualize words/ideas in English. Also, we wanted to communicate to the world our new country and open our doors wide for all to join us in this celebration.
In fact we are very proud of our language, culture, and folklore, however it’s an interesting fact that Kosova has always been open to the international influence and this can be seen in our art, pop-culture, and so on…
Greetings, & my heart warming congratulations for the Kosovo people on having their own country! I like this project, and feel it is very apt in enabling joy and much needed positive nationalism amongst the people of Kosovo, specially the youth. But I cannot understand why you decided to go with the word in english, & not using a similar term in your countries own language? It’slike you’re rejecting own of your own nationalistic symbols (which should be your language), and replacing it with an international-friendly version.
